Transfer sharp 2-D artwork onto curved, 3-D objects — detail that surpasses standard screen printing.
Pad printing transfers 2-D images onto 3-D objects using an indirect offset (gravure) method, moving an image from a printing plate to the surface via a silicone pad. It prints on complex shapes that challenge traditional methods, making it essential for medical, automotive, electronics, and sports-equipment applications.
Print on concave, convex, curved, or rippled surfaces with ease.
High-resolution graphics and fine detail that surpass standard screen printing.
Inks provide high resistance and long-lasting quality.

Yes. Pad printing prints on concave, convex, curved or rippled surfaces with ease, which is the main reason it exists. The silicone pad deforms as it touches the product, wrapping slightly around the contour so the image lands without stretching out of shape.
Pad printing is typically a one to four color process, and a single color application often yields the best results. Each color requires its own plate and its own pad impression, and the colors must register to one another on a curved surface. If the artwork is full color, dye sublimation is the better route on coated items.
Pad printed imprints are modest in size, generally measured in a few inches rather than across a full panel. That makes pad printing ideal for logos, seals and short lines of type on hard goods, and the wrong choice for a full coverage graphic. Tell us your item and we will confirm the printable area.
Yes. Inks are mixed to your specified Pantone values before the run rather than approximated from a standard set. Send your PMS numbers with the artwork and flag any color that must be exact. The substrate underneath influences how a color reads, and we account for that when we set up the job.
