Army ROTC Catalog

PPI stands for Personal Presentation Item, the Army’s term for low-cost giveaways used as icebreakers with prospects and their influencers. Army recruiting guidance limits prospect items to $6 and influencer items to $12, and commands can set lower limits, so check with your Recruiting Operations Officer before ordering.

Official program orders usually pair the Army ROTC logo with your battalion or school marks. University logos need the school’s written permission, and cadet clubs or alumni groups ordering on their own should review the Army’s trademark licensing rules first. Your free digital proof lets cadre check every mark before production.

The Army’s undershirt color for the OCP uniform is tan 499, often sold as coyote brown. Our OCP Compliant 50/50 Coyote Tee and OCP 60/40 Coyote Long Sleeve Tee come in that shade. Logos on uniform undershirts are restricted, so most battalions order printed versions for PT, spirit and off-duty wear.

Plan on about two to three weeks for most custom items once your artwork is approved, and longer for large tent or back wall orders. Send your logo and event date early and we’ll build the timeline around it.

By tradition, a newly commissioned second lieutenant gives a silver dollar or a coin to the first enlisted service member who salutes them. It isn’t a regulation, but many battalions order custom coins so every new officer has one ready on commissioning day.
